Beer review episode 10 - Stella Artois Premium Lager Beer
STELLA ARTOIS from belgium.
taste ok. a bit bitter, but no strong after taste.
i like the embossed can.
btw, i used to think that alcohol doesn't really affect me. now i can fell the dizzyness after just a can of beer. maybe it's because i'm tired already, so the effect is stronger. anyway, it's good to make me sleep faster. other than that, alcohol everyday is good for heart. that's according to a study anyway, which is just based on correlation data. just like the pirates decline can be related to global warning. FSM anyone?

Beer review episode 9 - Grolsch Premium Lager
this is a holland beer.
reviewed by forbes as one of the coolest beers.
i got an accident with this one. i guess it's because i rush up the stairs, causing the beer to be shaken. what a mistake.
it's nice tasting and refreshing at first. until the middle of it.
then it starts to taste weird for me.
ending with bitter aftertaste.
but now it's ok.
i suspect it's because it's not cold anymore so it's tasting weird?
anyway, who knows.
this is not bad if i consider the beginning refreshing taste.
arhh, the alcohol is taking over...

Beer review episode 8 - SINGHA Lager Beer
Ouww.. this is totally bitter. Arghh.. this is torture to my tongue. In the middle, it's not so bitter. Maybe because i use a special drinking technique that i don't know how to do it again? and during the last few part, it's just unbearably bitter. i almost give up on this one.
i wonder if it had to do with me. the haagen also tasted bad the last time i tried it.

drank haagen just now. it taste weird, very bitter, can't stand it. but managed to drink it all. what's wrong?
was i disillusioned last time?
is the beer not cold enough? (only a few hours on fridge)

anyway, the alcohol is taking effect already.

Beer review episode 7 - Kirin Lager Beer
oww.. this one is not so nice for me.
it left a bitter taste on your mouth.
but when you drink it, it doesn't taste bitter. it feels fresh though.
let me try again..
yeah, definitely not my taste. i prefer the draft beer, or budweiser, or haagen.
the last drop is definitely bitter.
btw, interesting thing, there is a braille alphabet on top of the can.
i wonder what it is for.. i thought it is the expiriy date. i tried to decode it, but can't find any meaningful match. it's not even a number.

Beer review episode 6 - Budweiser Lager Beer
the american beer. not bitter, light but tasty. in fact, it's very light, almost close to beer + water. a very welcomed taste. even kids will like it, maybe..
it's a very nice beer overall.
something that i would like to have again sometimes.
but i'm dizzy now, maybe because i'm tired after playing RE4 and ironing my clothes so the alcohol have greater effect.

Beer review episode 5 - Kirin Draft Beer
The japanese beer.
This beer got no after taste. The feeling is smooth. The taste is not too strong but I think that's what special about this beer. It's also not bitter. Those who don't like beer might find it acceptable. One thing, it contains gas more than i like. But overall, it's a nice beer to have.
the price is... i don't remember exactly. but it's more than $3.

i should try kirin lager beer next. that's the one being heavily promoted.
oh well, the alcohol is taking action in my head now. time to sleep..

Price: SGD 1.75
The price pretty much tell you the taste.
It tastes almost like water.
It has a lot of gas.
After you finish it, it left your mouth bitter.
And it make my stomach complain.
Now I better go to toilet to finish my business.

Alcohol 8.8%
More bitter compared to Haagen, but still OK.
Made my stomach feels warm after drinking it.
Also there is quite some gas there.
Overall, an OK beer.

ok, this is the idea that come just now when drinking heineken.
i'll do a beer review here, haha..
there are 2 type in the store i bought this from.
made in singapore and made in holland.
the one made in holland have a imported by label and the can opener handle is green.
the made in singapore one looks normal.
other difference is the price.
guess which one is more expensive?
the holland, you said? totally wrong. it is the singapore made.
that's why i buy the holland made. it is da original stuff and more importantly, it is cheaper, hohoho...
written on the can: THE ORIGINAL QUALITY
see that? i'm drinking the original there.
taste: hm, bitter.. and a lot of gas. feel a bit heavy. i don't really like it. and after finishing the can, i feel full, must be the gas.
price: SGD 2.65
