Dr. Salvador

still on RE4.

this guy is also known as the chainsaw maniac.
one slash from him, and your head is rolling on the ground. this make him a scary enemy.
the fact that he can sustain 30 normal handgun shot make him REAL SCARY.

when u see him move towards u, u'll start to get panic.
or at least I get panic. try shooting his head or leg. when he is down, it's not relief. it's greater danger as he is going to get up again. so keep shooting at him, but don't leave yourself with empty clip when he gets up. or else, say goodbye to your lovely head..

definitely a dangerous fat man.

Resident Evil 4

a very cool game from capcom.
at first i thought it's scary. i need to gather courage to play this game. but now i think it's not too scary. coz the enemy still looks like normal but creepy human. i don't know about the later part of the game.

overall it's more action oriented.
see the enemy, plan your strategy (or maybe not), shoot them, kill them.
it's just like how dino crisis evolved from survival into the action oriented dino crisis 2.

for me, it's quite a tough game coz i'm still don't know the best strategy to beat group of enemies except for wasting my shotgun shells or grenade. but it's fun. shooting the ganados is almost addictive.

Beer review episode 4 - Anchor Smooth Pilsener Beer

Price: SGD 1.75

The price pretty much tell you the taste.
It tastes almost like water.
It has a lot of gas.
After you finish it, it left your mouth bitter.
And it make my stomach complain.
Now I better go to toilet to finish my business.

All possibility covered

The Buddha taught:

"When, Kalamas, this noble disciple has thus
made his mind free of enmity, free of ill will, uncorrupted and pure,
he has won Four Assurances in this very life.

"The First Assurance he has won is this:
'If there is another world, and if good and bad deeds bear fruit and yield results,
it is possible that with the breakup of the body, after death,
I shall arise in a good destination, in a heavenly world.'

"The Second Assurance he has won is this:
'If there is no other world, and if good and bad deeds do not bear fruit and yield results,
still right here, in this very life,
I live happily, free of enmity and ill will.'

"The Third Assurance he has won is this:
'Suppose evil befalls the evil-doer.
Then, as I do not intend evil for anyone,
how can suffering afflict me, one who does no evil deed?'

"The Fourth Assurance he has won is this:
'Suppose evil does not befall the evil-doer.
Then right here, I see myself purified in both respects.'
[because I do no evil, and because no evil (ie. suffering) will befall me] - Kalama Sutta

this is so special of buddhism that you can't find in other religions.
you can doubt you own teacher, religion, or whatever.. then experience the truth yourself. not being fed by other people's mouth or some "holy" books.

even the buddha himself said, "If there is no other world, and if good and bad deeds do not bear fruit and yield results," which is against his own teaching. what if that's the case? then don't worry. he said: "still right here, in this very life, I live happily, free of enmity and ill will."

is there any other religions that teach like that? did other religion founders ever said: "if there is no [insert their god or basic teaching here], then..."

Licence Test A-3

Gran Turismo 4.
Licence Test A-3.
Trying to get gold.
So difficult, from +0.055s to +0.002s difference to my target time.
Trying and trying and trying...
And when i got the gold, my time difference to target is -0.2 something.
Wow.. dunno if i can repeat it. Repeating +0.002 is pain enough.

Beer review episode 2: Haagen Lager Beer

some brief description:

Haagen is a 5% premium lager, naturally brewed in New Zealand for both domestic and export sales. Haagen is brewed from the finest of natural ingredients under German guidelines. The imported malts and hop provide a smooth, full-bodied premium lager. These elements along with an extended cold maturation period produce exceptional quality with a mild to dry finish.

The one I had is made in Auckland, NZ.

Review:
taste: almost not bitter. not bad at all.. it's an ok beer. chances are i'll have it again sometime.
price: SGD 2.10

there are 2 type in the store i bought this from.
made in singapore and made in holland.
the one made in holland have a imported by label and the can opener handle is green.
the made in singapore one looks normal.
other difference is the price.

the holland, you said? totally wrong. it is the singapore made.
that's why i buy the holland made. it is da original stuff and more importantly, it is cheaper, hohoho...
written on the can: THE ORIGINAL QUALITY
see that? i'm drinking the original there.

taste: hm, bitter.. and a lot of gas. feel a bit heavy. i don't really like it. and after finishing the can, i feel full, must be the gas.
