now about wild arms 4.
i completed this last saturday.
what a sad rpg, i mean in story. a lot of character in this game simply died. then towards end of the game, we're pretty much only left with the main characters and even less at the ending. and the death of someone make me quite sad, coz that someone is quite mysterious yet likeable. this game is too much. the next wild arms better go back to its root. 3 people saving the world with happy ending, hahaha...
of course, the battle system is not bad. it gives you more strategy variety. but the bosses are pretty easy if u play smartly. but the characters can't easily do what i want since some of their moves are dependent on their position. but overall, quite fun.
now, about the puzzle solving. what a disappointment. i want the original tools system to be back. and i don't want cheap puzzles that don't need any thinking. the platforming action on dungeon is welcome and apparently it will make a comeback.
for the next wild arms, i hope it go back to the first wild arms context. wild west + guardian + golem + kingdom + demon + magic. and btw, where is the golem in this one?
one more thing, u buy some items with your level. damn, what is that? to get sherrif star, u need 8080 levels and 1,470,000 gella. the gella is ok, but the level? dude? wtf? of course it's easier if u find the requirements from battles. but what is the chance?
