Which Chinese Lunar year is which?

this is what i found.

in indonesia, this is year 2556. even the president said so.
proof:
"As president of Indonesia, I wish a happy Lunar new year 2556 to our brothers and sisters who celebrate it. I hope the celebration of this Lunar new year will bring more peace and happinness that in the previous years," Yudhoyono said.

others said this is year 4072. look at the difference!
now.. let's see what Associated Press said:
Businesses and government offices from Beijing to Singapore were closed to mark the passing of the Year of the Monkey and the beginning of year 4072 in the traditional Chinese calendar.

some other said it is year 4073.
Two local entrepreneurs have joined forces for a grand celebration to bring in, according to the Chinese lunar calendar, the year 4073 - a year of activity and prosperity.

so... who's right??
anyway, only one thing is certain. according to the animal zodiac sign, this is the year of the chocobo. yes.

by the way, there has been an intense drumming since morning. when i went out, it sounded as it came from the top of a building. i wonder if it's just a sound reflection. maybe the real drumming was at the temple nearby. some people were also drumming at the back of a pick up car driving around the neighborhood.
